A: No. Brompton seatposts have a unique, integrated design to work specifically with their seat sleeve assemblies. Due to this design, we cannot guarantee direct compatibility with third-party seatposts, including our own Redshift ShockStop.

A: All standard Brompton seatposts have a consistent outer diameter of 31.8 mm. The available lengths are:
Standard: 520 mm (for riders up to ≈5′10")
Extended: 580 mm (for riders up to ≈6′2")

A: Yes, there is an indirect method using a third-party accessory. We have had a number of customers who have successfully utilized a third-party telescoping seatpost (made by brands like Joseph Kuosac or Aceoffix) that is designed for Bromptons.

A: These third-party telescoping posts typically have an outer diameter of 31.8 mm to fit the Brompton frame, but an inner diameter of 27.2 mm. Our ShockStop seatposts (Endurance, Pro Endurance, or Pro Race models) are available in a 27.2 mm diameter, allowing you to insert one of our posts into the top position of that third-party telescoping post.

A: You would need to select a ShockStop model with a 27.2 mm diameter, such as our Endurance, Pro Endurance, or Pro Race seatposts.
