Can I use my Arclight Clipless pedals with my road cycling shoes?Updated a month ago

Arclight Clipless pedals are compatible with the SPD (Shimano Pedaling Dynamics) two-bolt cleat system, which is commonly found on mountain biking and touring shoes.

Road cycling shoes, on the other hand, typically use a three-bolt system (like SPD-SL or Look Delta).

There are no immediate plans for a "road cleat" version (SPD SL, Look) of our Arclight Clipless pedals, but we are always looking for ways to improve our products and expand our offerings. We appreciate you reaching out with your interest, and we'll certainly consider it for future product development.

You may be able to use a three-bolt-to-two-bolt adapter. This adapter attaches to the three-bolt pattern on your road shoes and provides a mounting point for the two-bolt SPD cleat. While this may not be an ideal long-term solution, it can be the easiest way to get on your Arclight Clipless pedals without changing your shoes.

You can find these adapters from various cycling brands, such as Shimano and others. We recommend searching online for "SPD-SL to SPD adapter" or "3-bolt to 2-bolt cleat adapter" to find a suitable option.
