- Two bolts side-by-side: SPD
- Three bolts in a triangle: either SPD-SL or LOOK Keo. SPD-SL cleats come with Shimano road pedals, Keo cleats with LOOK road pedals.
Mousetrap Pedal Adapters are designed around LOOK and Shimano branded pedals. The exceptions listed below are pedals made by other brands that use the LOOK or Shimano cleat systems.
Mousetrap SPD - for two-bolt SPD pedals
The two-bolt system used on most mountain, gravel and commuter pedals. Shimano SPD, LOOK X-Track, Ritchey, iSSi, Favero Assioma PRO MX and Arclight PRO Clipless all use this cleat system.

Mousetrap SPD-SL - for three-bolt Shimano road pedals

- Garmin Rally RS-110 - usable at lower pedal tensions
- MSW Judo - usable at lower pedal tensions
Not Compatible
- Rockbros
Mousetrap LOOK Keo - for three-bolt LOOK road pedals
The LOOK Keo road system and pedals built to it.
Compatible*
- Garmin Rally RK110 - usable at lower tensions
- Rockbros - only compatible at maximum pedal tension
